Food Gatherer

Location: All around Lakeland

Time Commitment: 5 Minutes to hours

Description: Contact or visit area businesses and individuals interested in donating food or special items for Thanksgiving Baskets or for the Holiday Luncheon. This volunteer must be creative and outgoing. We need chickens (cooked and frozen), mashed potatos, stuffing, anything that would make someone's holiday brighter.

Basket Assembler

Location: Faith in Action of Central Lakeland Office

Time Committment: one hour

Description: Come to the church and divide and organize the food into baskets. Create a special basket to bless our care receivers.

Basket Coordinator

Location: Faith in Action of Centrla Lakeland Office

Time Committment: Anytime from one hour

Description: Call seniors from our list to ask if they would like a basket. Take notes according to preferences and special needs in the computer.

Basket Delivery

Location: Delivery Route under 5 miles

Time Committment: Anytime the Week of Nov. 17th

Description: You specify how many and where you would like to deliver baskets. We supply a detailed route with turn by turn directions to each home. This allows you to be the face of the blessing!
