Volunteer Transportation is Coming to Polk County!
2011 Florida Comission for the Transportation Disadvantged
Innovation of the Year Award - Bluebird Mobility Network
ElderPoint Ministries is the Lead Agency to bring a volunteer transportation program to our county. We are working with other nonprofits throughout the county to build a coalition of agencies providing transportation to those residents that need it most.

Their support for our Portable Pantry program means seniors have healthy and fresh food choices like the produce shown here as well as canned, frozen and shelf stable items. Portable Pantry distributes food every month to our seniors' homes. We are so grateful for the support of the George W. Jenkins Fund and the Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland so we can continue to grow our service in the senior community.

A call for help was answered as one of our elderly neighbors needed her home powerwashed to stay in compliance with park requirements. Our wonderful volunteers were there quickly to resolve the situation and give peace of mind. Our volunteers are extraordinary at solving all types of requests!
